The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Best boot for rainy travel.
After TONS of deliberation, I landed on these boots to buy for my two-week long trek across Ireland, and I could not be happier with my decision. These boots are comfortable right out of the box, and keep your feet warm and dry. On average, I walked about 10 miles a day through rain, wind, and sun, in cities and in nature. My legs hurt, but my feet never did! My feet stayed completely dry, even in pouring rain (paired with some good rain pants). I really like the wide toe, both for the roominess and the look. I didn't bring any other shoes, and I didn't need to. I dressed them up and down and they looked fine with everything. I usually wear an 8-8.5, and I got a size 9 after reading reviews. They fit perfectly.

Very happy with the Barefoot Boot
This is my first pair of Lems. I really like them. They were comfortable from the first time wearing them. They are nice looking and I am wearing them for work and casual.

Great boots, just not for me
The toe box didn’t coincide with the shape of my toes. That is the only reason I had to return. Other than that the boots felt soft, comfortable and light on my feet. It is too bad that they don’t make boots with a round shape toe box. I highly recommend these boots if you think your toes will coincide with the toe box.
