Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

5 stars but minus 1 for confusing sizing
Boots are amazing. Very stable, pliable, warm, and just enough give in the sole to not feel every pebble but not feeling like a corrective sole. I’ve been looking for a replacement for my blundstones and these seem to be it.
I am a TRUE 8.5 across all brands, and rarely a 9 if a brand doesn’t have 8.5. The listing said to order a half size up, so I ordered 9 but my toes were touching the toe box, which was uncomfortable but also meant there would be no way this would fit with a bigger sock. I reluctantly exchanged them (which is just a hassle) and got the 9.5. I must say the exchange process was very quick.
These 9.5s are great but never once in my life have I worn a 9.5. I wish they would advertise this better, especially seeing other reviews!
This is my first lems experience and I am eyeing some more casual sneakers but I’ll have to do some deep dive into the sizing before ordering.

so happy with these!
my sister has had these for awhile & she let me try hers on, and i loved hers instantly. i usually wear more minimalist shoes (less padding , more flexibility) but these are seriously the best for cozy, warm, DRY feet. i work outside (on my feet) year round and these are my new favorite boots!
i sized WAY up, a full size, to accommodate my wide foot and was thrilled that they weren’t too long like vivobarefoots are when i size up. and, though the leather was stiff and snug when i first wore them, after a day or 2 my toes could splay fully and they were almost as broken-in as my sister’s pair. i love these!!!

Chelseas are extremely comfortable and healthy for my healing feet
Was recommended this brand so my feet have room to move naturally and heal. I love these boots. So comfortable and I'm able to use my feet while wearing them.
