Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

A Keeper!
I'm a 14 4e in traditional shoes and like 3/8-1/2" of extra length at the end of my toes. So I sized up to a 15, and the Zens are a perfect, comfy fit with fully cushioned midweight socks. The wider, firmer heel and straighter shoe last through the midfoot are must-haves for me. The cork insoles work too! I don't have to replace with NorthSole. Dear Lems, please keep the Primal Zen as is, and please keep them and the replacement insoles in stock in my extended size, and I'll be your customer for life.

Very comfortable out of the box
The footbed is the most comfortable I have experienced in years. The toe box is wide enough that I don't feel cramped. These are comfy shoes out of the box and require very little break in. I'll try to report back when I learn anything about longevity and durability.

1 Month - So far so… great!
I have had these for a month now and so far I am very satisfied with how comfortable and minimal they are. I was looking for a shoe that struck a balance between being too much, but also not being too little in regard to cushion and “support”. These are exactly what I was looking for. After wearing them as my daily shoe for a month now, I even notice how unnatural the shape pf my other shoes feel. Now that may just be that I am used to how these feel. However, I have never gotten used to a shoe so quickly and that attests to how natural these feel. They were clearly shaped for feet rather than your feet being shaped for the shoe.
They are everything I hoped they would be and more! Time will tell more about their durability and build quality.
