Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Best Shoes I've Ever Owned
No break in required. I did 30,000 steps in these shoes the night they were delivered.
Walking on clouds.
As another reviewer mentioned, these do feel more like the successor to the Primal Zens.
But that's a good thing for me, as I had issues with the Primal 2's when walking on asphalt and concrete all day, my feet would frequently get tired and sore due to the lack of padding compared to the Primal Zens.
I prefer the Primal 2's for trails and hiking off road as they have better ground feel. But for day to day walking in the city, I prefer the Primal 3's and my feet are less sore.
I'm only giving these 4 stars because the Primal 2's included the polyester insoles, while the Primal 3's include the Cork insoles which don't work for me living in a humid place. I never had issues with sweaty feet or overheating feet until using these cork insoles. With the cork insoles, the Primal 3 feels so much warmer in a bad way. And they were causing chafing and soreness even with the socks or sock liners. I eventually swapped out my Primal 2 polyester insoles into the Primal 3's and my issues went away.
If you live in a humid place, I recommend getting a pair of any of the non-cork insoles for better breathability and to prevent blistering.

Yesterday
perfect primals
The men's primal threes offer a couple of improvements I've noticed over the primal twos: a slightly thicker sole and the sole wraps a little higher up the sides of the shoe. Both of these features should add a bit more protection against rocks and tree roots when hiking while still maintaining the overall flexibility of the shoe sole. Give them a try. You'll like them.

A few weeks in the Primal 3's
The Primal 3 is just as good as the Primal 2 and being I wear these shoes till there is not anything left to them I'm eager to see if these soles last longer.... with the Primal 2's I normally get about 6 months. Let you know....
