The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

So perfect...I made them my wedding shoes!!
These are THE MOST COMFORTABLE and good looking outdoor shoes / boots I've ever owned. I didn't actually purchase them with the intention of them being my wedding shoes - but they are such good looking boots - it just worked! I was looking for a good waterproof outdoor shoe with plenty of toe space to wear / hike with in all kinds of conditions. Then during wedding planning I had the idea to wear them with my dress and it was perfect. We added the cute little shoe lace leaf from Esty to "dress" them up, and they made the perfect outdoor, mountain, fall wedding boots. I love being able to call them my wedding shoes when I wear them casually. My. only complaint is having to lace them up and not being able to slip them on quickly like a chelsea boot when having to get ready quickly, but that's

Super Comfortable!
I absolutely love these boots!! I needed a pair of non-slip boots for an European trip where I had to walk on wet cobblestone streets. These boots couldn't have been better! They are so comfortable that I don't want to take them off. After returning from my trip I ordered a pair of women's Chillums, which are just as comfortable. I wish I would have purchased a pair of these boots long ago!
