The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot. It has a wider heel and midfoot to distribute your weight more evenly. The Primal 3 still utilizes our signature IBR outsole for a lightweight, flexible feel!

With fit and feel in mind, we've listened to your feedback and made the Primal 3 available in half sizes, because when it comes to comfort, we believe every inch counts!

Speaking of comfort, our new recycled PU insole takes things up a notch. At 4.5mm thick, its breathable materials ensures comfort in every step.

And fear not, loyal fans – while the Primal 3 boasts exciting new features, we've kept the upper consistent with the beloved Primal 2. That's right – the same unbeatable comfort you know and love, now with even more sizing options to ensure the perfect fit for every foot!

    I'm not scrunching or wriggling my toes!

    I really like the large toe box as the sensation of toe crowding drives me to distrction. These are little (i hestiate to use this word, but for lack of a better one in mind)clunkier than my Keens but I'm getting used to them and appreciate that they're lighter weight than Keens. These are wonderful shoes for when i'm on my feet all day for clinics!
