Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This brand new, sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

Great boot!
Suhweet! I love them so much. Comfortable around town, good looking, and even after being on my feet for 10 hours they are not sweaty! They do not pinch my toes, which is awesome for leather boots. Can’t wait to get them off road!

Loved so much I bought two pairs
I bought the brown ones a year ago. They are literally the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn and they look badass. I'll admit I haven't done much actual hiking in them but I did walk 40+ miles in them on a recent travel trip, so call it city hiking, and they were amazing. Love them so much I bought a pair in black cause I didn't want to risk something changing with the construction of the boot years down the road and I'd be out. Never have I ever bought two pairs of anything because I loved it so much. Serious props to Lems for this boot!

Work boots
I bought these boots in black for work. When I am not at work (home, running…) I wear zero drop, wide toe box running shoes. I work EMS and my feet hate my 5.11 boots. I became tired of waiting for anyone to come out with a tactical boot that is zero drop, with toe space and ordered these. The foot bed is amazing, there is plenty of toe room and they do not take long to put on. I have only had them 3 shifts and have yet to have a real bloody boot incident, so I will update when I find out how well they handle decon. My only other concern would be stepping on glass/sharp objects. I am just trying to be careful because the trade off is worth it for my feet. They do feel more protective than I thought they would. I sized up to a 6.5 because I like my work and running shoes a little big. That is the same size I wear in Altra for comparison.
