Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

OILED LEATHER UPPER

We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE

Our injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favorite puff jacket.

ZERO-DROP

Pretty good, eh?
Only a couple things... wish the treads were a little better and a little longer lasting. But I tried the summit and they were too stiff. I think they need to recommend ordering a full size up vs a half size. They are right on the edge of too snug. I actually thought they shrank somehow, but realized the insoles had curled up at the toes. Replaced the insole with a insulated thermal insole, and now they feel back to the original snug but not too small fit. Love the black. Haven't gotten them very wet, but they've held well to mild wet situations. Very comfy on immediately, unlike the summit that hurt my heel and was very stiff. Overall, I'm pleased. And customer service was great!

Best Station Boots
I bought these boots to wear while on shift at the fire station and they have been the best bought I’ve ever worn. I will definitely be buying more for day to day life. I bought a size up from what I would normally wear and changed the laces out to stretchy ones so I can slip in and out of them. The waterproof feature of them gives me peace of mind on scene and I love how lightweight and flexible they are. They are more comfortable than my house slippers!
