Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

RUGGED UPPER

The upper is made of durable materials that stand up to the abuses of trails, and also daily wear and tear.

MOUNTAIN-TO-TOWN OUTSOLE

Engineered with a new, low profile, rubber tread that combines the best of both worlds: ample traction on trails, AND excellent durability on pavement.

LOW HEEL DROP

With 4mm of drop, compared to the traditional 12mm of drop, the Trailhead naturally decreases heel-striking for a more natural gait and healthier posture.

FIRM CUSHIONING

When your foot is on too soft of cushion, you end up with pain and discomfort. We've formulated a firm EVA midsole that'll keep your feet happy all day long.

Love my new shoes!
I look forward to walking because I get to put these shoes on! My sister-in-law introduced me to Lem’s and I’m so happy she did! I have bursitis in my left hip and I really feel walking in these shoes is going to help tremendously!
I first ordered a size that was too short and I got a bigger pair in two days! The return process was so easy and so fast! Definitely order a half a size to a size up, I feel they run short

Comfortable, But Not the Most Stylish
I bought these shoes for my daughter to help relieve her foot pain during her 8-hour shifts as a grocery store checker, and they definitely solved that problem! Her feet no longer hurt after long hours of standing. However, the shoes aren’t the most attractive, so we’re planning to try something with a better look. Overall, great for comfort, but could use some improvement in style.
