Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Amazing help for my plantar fasciitis!
In the past year, I had gone through 3 sets of insoles in my old shoes, thanks to a full time job where I'm standing on my feet, on concrete, for 35-40 hours a week. This created lots of foot pain, all over the bottoms and sides of my feet.
Instead of buying another short-lived solution, I decided to ask around, and invest in a shoe that would help my foot pain without the use of an insole. A colleague told me about Lems. I'd seen her wearing them almost daily. So I took the chance and bought a pair. Well worth the money! I've felt ZERO foot pain since starting wearing Lems!! So grateful for these shoes.

Toe box a little short?
I ordered the same size as my Primal 2s, which fit great on both feet. I thought the Eco would be a nice change and really like the black upper and white sole of this shoe. My left foot hits the top toe box, but my right foot is fine, so I don't know if it's my feet or the shoes! Hopefully they'll relax over time. I really like them other than this. It's my third pair of Lems and think they are awesome. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day long, on concrete flooring.

Loving them
I am loving my Primal Eco shoes. I normally where a size 7.5 though in Nike’s I usually have to size up to 8. For these shoes I ordered a size 7.5 and they initially felt “snug” and I was worried after reading some reviews that Lems tends to run small. But I’m happy to say after wearing them for a day they wore in nicely already and do not feel snug anymore. I would like to add that I have a Morton’s neuroma on my left foot which is basically scar tissue on a tendon between two of my toes that leaves me in excruciating pain if I wear shoes that are tight. The wide toe box has me very comfortable and I have no pain because my toes have plenty of room. I am a nurse who works a long twelve hours running around on my feet all day and these have become my new favorite work shoe. Annnnnnnd I think they are cute :)
