Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

This shoe is equipped with a slip resistant, non-marking rubber outsole that utilizes zig-zag grooves and grippy textures to ensure your feet remain grounded in slippery situations.

Perfect for urban exploration
These have proven to be excellent shoes for wearing every day around town. I travel a lot, and like to take advantage of my time in different places. I’ve been wearing these shoes almost daily, racking up tens of miles per week, and have experienced very little foot fatigue.
It is also easy to keep these shoes looking clean! So bonus points for easy upkeep.

Great shoes, but less durable than desired
I have been wearing these shoes daily for about 6-8 months. I do a lot of walking and cycling in these shoes. The bottom tread of the shoes is starting to tear off in small chunks.
I'm missing bits of tread on the bottom of the shoe. I love everything about these shoes, except for the durability factor.
If the tread on the bottom of the shoes was more durable they would get 5 stars from me.

Confortable
These are the first barefoot shoes that fits me.
I’ve had several pains on my left foot. And with the wide toe box, my pains started to fade away and I can move my toes more freely also.
So very nice! 👍
