the grey canvas version is not waterproof
i have the brown leather version which is waterproof. i also have the grey canvas version which is not waterproof. stepped in a puddle and both left and right shoe soaked through. I also found that the canvas, grey ones feel a bit more narrow than the leather ones. The leather ones are great, waterproof, wide and very comfortable.

Most Comfortable Lems Yet
This is my third pair of Lems shoes and by far the most comfortable I can't wait to take them to the mountains. Already super impressed with the waterproofing

Comfortable, but questionable for work boots
I purchased these as a replacement for my previous work boots. As I had been seeking a healthier option for my feet doing work as a carpenter. However, after a little over a month the toe has begun to separate ever so slightly right at the ball of my foot. We will see if it continues to worsen as time goes on.
I would highly recommend these boots for hiking or other outdoor activities.
I would not say they are sturdy enough to be "work" boots, or boots that are good if you squat down a lot or spend any time on your knees often.
Probably would not purchase again for my purposes, but not a bad boot otherwise.
