Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Love these shoes!
Im wearing these for sports training and they are great. I ordered a 1/2 size bigger to allow extra room for my foot when training.

Amazing!
I had suffered from plantar fasciitis for almost 2 years. I went to a podiatrist, had 8 weeks of physical therapy, and bought several pairs of expensive shoes. Nothing relieved the pain and the pain continued to get worse. I felt like I was either going to have to have surgery to get relief or live with the excruciating pain until one day I stumbled across Lems’ website and watched a video on plantar fasciitis. I was floored to hear that a barefoot shoe could relieve foot pain. I was desperate to find relief, so I ordered my first pair. When I first tried them on, I could immediately feel something different. They felt like they hugged my foot. They were so comfortable. It wasn’t instant relief but every week my pain slowly began to go away. I bought my Lems in September, and I am now pain free!! I am grateful for these shoes. They have truly saved my feet!! Thank you!!

Cant wear any other shoes after these!
I have gone thru many pairs of these shoes, worn the soles till they have no tread. All other shoes are confining and dont give me the same proprioception. Wearing these shoes i feel more balanced and my feet can feel the terrain more which i like. I have tried some of the other lems with the more beefy sole but ithink these ones are the best for foot feels and balance.
