Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

Winter boot
I expected to like this boot and I do. Unfortunately I received too late to try it out against old man winter. I will test it out next year because we all know “Winter is Coming” 😁

Toe box height too shallow
I like many things about this boot, but one thing I don’t like may prevent me from purchasing another pair. The toe box height is too shallow. I could not wear thick socks or put insoles in these boots because there is no space in the toes. If the there was more height in the toes and if the top two eyelets for the laces were hooks instead, then these would be perfect.

Beautiful but tight
I’m not sure if the style makes them tight but they are not like the style of lems shoes I’ve previously bought. I’ve fallen twice with these because they are a lot tighter at the toes. Please bring back the primal 2. I love and miss those. These are beautiful but the toes are so tight I feel like I’m wearing regular shoes.
