The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Great boots
These boots are very comfortable straight out of the box, no break in time needed. I like that they have a wide toe box, but also have thicker soles than other barefoot boots I own. My feet are very happy with these boots!

These are awesome boots. Warm, lightweight, easy to put on BUT they could use the grip sole. I slipped & fell my second day wearing them outside. Note to self they are slippery.

Wanted to love these boots
I often walk around barefoot as much as possible, I have a slightly high arch but nothing too extreme. I often wear lightweight hiking boots for work, but I wanted an all around can wear anywhere any time boot. Read the reviews on the Chelsea and have wanted this style boot for a while now. Unfortunately I gave these boots the best go I could wearing them for 3 weeks in all types of places and they were just not comfortable for my foot type at all. They are completely too tight on the tops of my feet. Even trying to wear them with no insole they just rubbed wrong on the top of my feet, keep in mind I did size up one full size from my regular boot. The shape just wasn’t meant for me. On the positive side the leather is very quality and the soles seem durable but light. I believe someone with a flat foot would really enjoy this boot.
