PRIMAL 2 VS. PRIMAL 3 OVERVIEW

Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Just Great!
I just recently found Lems. First I bought the Primal 3 s and loved them. Then I got the Primal Zen Leather. Better for winter and I don't feel the concrete and pavement as much as with the Primal 3 s. That's good for me just starting out with minimalist shoes. So I love them both, so comfortable, but I can wear the Primal Zen Leather for longer periods. I'm hoping these shoes along with other strategies will help me recover from Plantar Fasciitis.

Perfect Shoes and Flawless Buying Experience!
I have wide feet, and I’m really happy because this is the first pair of shoes that doesn’t bother me with a narrow toe box. In the past, I always bought larger sizes from other brands to compensate for the narrow toe box, but that came at the expense of comfort. Those shoes felt excessively long, and made it easy to trip while walking.
Time will tell how durable these shoes are, but for now, I’m a happy customer and very likely to buy again. I followed the sizing guide, which suggested I was an 11.5, but since it was my first time ordering from LEMS, I decided to order three sizes: 11, 11.5, and 12 and test which fits best. It turned out that 11.5 was indeed the right size. Returning the other pairs was extremely easy, and I received a refund as soon as I dropped them off at the nearest drop-off location.
