Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Comfy
I’m a flat having wide toe box duck footed lady. I don’t do boots. Period. This is my first pair ever since submitting to my toe shape - and transitioning to footwear that accommodates to my needs, and these work for me! They’re super cute, go with most outfits, and are just plaaaaiinnn comfy! Very happy with this purchase. I ordered 1/2 size up as recommended.

Obsessed
I've been looking at the Chelsea boot since I got the boulder boot several years ago. I finally went for it when the waterproof version came out since I live in a rainy place and needed something to wear basically every day in winter. The first day I wore them with low socks and got a little sore on my ankle, but since wearing them more I've been able to go with shorter socks without it rubbing. The customer photos are true to the look, whatever weird bulge is going on in the product photo is not how the shoe came. I wear them without the insert, and it's so completely comfortable.
The color is gorgeous and I am basically just obsessed. Definitely go with the recommended sizing up, I'm usually between a 6-6.5 and while the 6.5 I got is comfortable, it's not as roomy as I expected. If I wear really thick socks, it's a bit snug. I'd probably go with a 7 if I reorder.
