Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

WATERPROOF

Rain or sun, we’re ready. Not only can you skip along streams and keep your toes dry, you can up the ante on where your travel takes you this winter, thanks to your new favorite pair, complete with a gusseted tongue.

OILED LEATHER UPPER

We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE

Our injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favorite puff jacket.

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel flat to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

Love at first sight
I love this show! It's pretty tight and stiff, being new. I'm pretty wimpy when it comes to breaking boots. The foot is super comfortable though and I LOVE this boot so it's worth the breaking in process. Very light weight. I'd definitely size up a bit, as just getting my foot in is a bit tricky.

Not flexible
This is a nice well-made boot, however the picture that shows it rolled up - being super flexible is not accurate. I have a leather boulder boot and 3 vegan boulder boots and from the very beginning could easily roll them up. This waterproof boot is so stiff it doesn't have that flexibility. Sending it back!

Women's BOULDER BOOT Best shoes EVER
I have never loved shoes this much before. They are so damn comfortable and perfect.
I wish I had a pair of leather Mary Jane’s that were as comfy as these so I could sort of dress up but still be comfortable on my feet. I think that’s going to take some searching tho!!
