Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Expected prime quality
I have been wearing this model in different colors for the past 3 years now for daily wear/the office/running. I’m delighted at how much time I get out of these until they start to break down. These are the only shoes I wear April through November so they get a lot of miles.

Amazing for my Morton's Neuroma
I purchased these knowing I needed something to wear while traveling in Europe for 2 weeks (lots of tourist site walking). I have Morton's Nueroma and have not been able to wear anything that isn't a wide-toe box without experiencing intense pain within 30 minutes of having shoes on. I normally wear flip-flops in the summer and Ugg boots in the winter, so I'm generally fine with those. Anything else doesn't work for me, and even then, I need to use metatarsal pads along with wide-toe box shoes. I have tried a couple of other cheap brands of wide-toe box shoes (~$30) and they never worked. I also decided to purchase a half size larger than my normal shoe size (I'm normally a 7) just in case. I was a bit worried they might feel too big, but they didn't at all. The combination of these Lems and my metatarsal pads allowed me to walk for 8 hours straight all around Paris with any paid during or after. I never even had time to really break them in before the trip! The only bad part to that was it was raining a lot that day in Paris and these are definitely not meant for wet weather. But I didn't care since I wasn't in pain. I did plenty of hiking in them as well as city walking and was thoroughly pleased. Well worth the purchase!

Favorite Sneakers
Wore them for miles at theme parks and my feet did not hurt. My feet actually felt like they were getting stronger with each step. These are my favorite sneaks for running and long walks.
