El Boulder Summit combina las características minimalistas del Boulder Boot con la suela del Outlander. One year of everyday wear in Minnesota… weak leather and mediocre construction
I want to love love love these boots. The fit is amazing, the sole is grippy and great. But the durability is just sub par. Within 2 months the sole was starting to delaminate from the leather (outside the warranty window) and within a year the leather started tearing at the sole/leather junction. It’s recently gotten worse and I’ve now take to shoe goo to see if I can fix it somewhat… I just wish the leather was more durable. I’m completely on the fence if I should get another pair since the fit is incredible, and just eat the high cost for that.

Exactly what I wanted!!
These are actually the 2nd pair of Boulder Summit's I have gotten from LEMS, which should already tell you something about them. I generally day to day wear barefoot style shoes and was on the hunt for a minimal, light, flexible full boot with a wide toe box that was also waterproof and DURABLE. Finding all these things in one package seemed impossible...but LEMS delivered! I had my first pair for a few years before making the mistake of drying them out on a camping trip for a bit too long a bit too close to the fire...that being said I still wear the damaged ones in a pinch! These boots are crazy light on the foot, it doesn't feel like you are wearing boots at all! They are super comfy (especially after breaking them in and wearing for a few weeks), and incredibly durable (as long as you aren't a dummy like me and put them inside an active firepit). I will be a LEMS customer for life.
