Very easy to change out and place new ones. The original insoles that came with the shoes only lasted a few months before they started to have areas that crumbled from use. I ordered the 5.5 mm which are thicker and will see how that goes. I gave 4 stars because I have only used them for a couple of weeks and not sure how long they will last. But so far so good!
