Bota Chelsea impermeable para hombre

I was debating between these and a pair of Vivo Gobi boots to take on a year of international travel with my family of 6 (including two kids under 5). Vivo has a 100 day trial, which is amazing, and I liked the Gobis quite a bit, but ultimately decided to take a chance on the Lems Chelsea Waterproof Tuff due to being about to slip on and off easily and versatility with my wardrobe. It took a couple of tries to get the size right (had to go up a half size) but I’m very satisfied with my decision. I really put them to the test on a long weekend to Charit Creek Lodge in Big South Fork National Park. We had intermittent rain and temps as low as 32F and high as 70F. The boots kept my feet cozy and dry, plenty warm with a pair of Darn Tough hiking socks without being too hot. While the sole is a bit thicker than what I’m accustomed to for barefoot shoes, I could still feel the benefits of the wider toe box and it was worth it to have the traction on slippery rocks and roots. I was initially concerned about hiking around without the extra support of a lace up ankle, but it was a total non issue. Not to mention having the ability to slip them on and off just outside our cabin to keep from tromping mud inside our sleeping quarters- chef’s kiss. They’ve also transitioned back to regular life fabulously, trekking around neighborhood and to carpool just as well as the more rugged activities. If you’re on the fence, go for it.
