Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

WATERPROOF

Rain or sun, we’re ready. Not only can you skip along streams and keep your toes dry, you can up the ante on where your travel takes you this winter, thanks to your new favorite pair, complete with a gusseted tongue.

OILED LEATHER UPPER

We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

IBR OUTSOLE

Our injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favorite puff jacket.

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel flat to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

Nice wide toe box
Yes, these boots have a nice wide toe box.
They also have a lacing combination that barely allows tying the boots to be done, and then those laces still come untied soon after one starts walking. They eyelets are tiny. The hooks above those eyelets are so small it is difficult to get the provided laces to stay in them while tying them.
The issue is so serious that I must use triple half hitches twice, one above the other, each one on separate hooks, on each boot before actually double tying the boots, Then they will last an hour or so while walking before coming untied.

Hurricane disaster, relief
I bought these to try to wear down in Georgia for comfort and they keep my feet dry down in Valdosta. They were comfortable and amazing. I will buy again after I wear these ones out.

Excellent shoes
I bought these shoes for the winter season. It rains a lot where I live. The shoes have lived up to the expectations and I haven't had wet shoes since I started wearing them. The fit is good, I feel that if I had been in a store, I would have wanted to try half a size bigger just to be sure, but I feel comfortable wearing them all day.
One little drawback is that they're squeaky. It's not noticeable in a street environment, but when it's quiet, they squeak with every step. Therefore, not a perfect five stars.
