Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

I LOVE these boots!
These boots are a revelation. They are just so darn comfortable! I own a lot of shoes, from super squishy running sneakers to heavy duty steel toe work boots. I have fairly wide feet, so always felt like shoes didn't quite fit right. I always thought that having a little foot discomfort after a day of a lot of walking or standing was just part of life. Also, I fractured a few bones in my feet years ago, and would often feel sore after a busy day, especially with certain shoes. Again, I thought this was just something I had to live with. Not with these Lems! I can wear them all day, and feel great. It's like they just disappear. Almost like I forget that I am even wearing shoes, if that makes sense.

Unbelievably lightweight and comfortable boot with almost zero break-in period. Lems suggests sizing up a half size so being a 12, I ended up purchasing a 12.5. The boots fit very well with light to mid weight socks (e.g., low to mid cushion darn tough) however, I’d suggest going up a full size up for those intending on wearing them with thicker socks of for those who like the extra room. At a 12.5, my toes don’t touch the end of the boot but they can begin to feel a little snug after long periods of time on my feet.
