Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Absolute comfort!!!
I was a bit withdrawn from wearing boots. In the past boots would severely hurt my feet/toes. The way they are designed changed all that. I live in PNW where it rains a lot. The boots kept my feet dry and feel amazing!!! Especially on trails. I’d say grab a pair! You won’t be disappointed.

Best looking boot that Lems has - especially if you have a wide foot
Let me start off by saying that I own a pair of Lems Chillum Grips and Court Grips. I have narrow feet, and the Chillums and Courts have allowed my feed to widen into their more natural state. I felt like it was time for me to find a zero drop boot. I decided to try the Boulder Summit Waterproof because it is their best looking boot. It just didn't fit me. What I found out was that the widest foot shape is truly the W I D E S T. My feet were swimming in these. I wanted to love them, but there was no way they would work for me. If Lems ever makes these with their wide foot shape, I'm in.

My First Pair
I personally never heard of Lems Shoes until they were referenced in a YouTube video I was watching. I seem to be hard on boots / shoes and Merrell has been my go to for quite some time.
I am impressed with these boots so far and am loving the wide width. It feels like my feet can actually breathe.
I will be looking into other products that Lems offers. I have my eye on the Primals for an everyday shoe.
All in all, great shoes and I will be purchasing more in the future!
