One month with my first minimalist shoes.
I was very interested in the whole idea of barefoot shoes, and these seemed like the best gateway to that. I work 4-5 8-hour shifts a week, on concrete floors, about 13-16,000 steps each day. Previous to this I would wear vans (yikes), at home it was barefoot or chacos. After just a few days, my throbbing knee pain post-shift was gone. It’s been a month wearing them exclusively, and my toes are too splayed to wear my chacos comfortably!
I did notice that my ankles were sore for the first week and a half, but that’s to be expected since I was working not to let them collapse inward.
My only problem is that I really do love those chacos, but I guess I’ll just have to buy more Lems in different styles!
