Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

I'm loving the Primal Eco
I am really enjoying the Primal Eco shoes. The ultra-wide last shape has been a game-changer for me. Now I don't want to wear anything else.
I started with a pair of the Primal 3, and have been enjoying those emensely. The Primal Eco are just as comfortable: lightweight, breathable, and flexible, with great barefoot feel. The cork footbed is nice. It gives a little extra comfy grip.

I'm ordering another pair. Fits true to size, and I love the cork insole... it's so soft, way softer than any birkenstock.

Love my Lems
Love the color and really like them overall. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that the fit is a little different from my other Primal shoes, which fit perfectly. I'm hoping these will be ok for me long-term, but will have to see - they are not quite as comfortable as my older Primals. I don't know if it's a matter of different materials being used, or just differences in the fit from one style or pair to the next. I love Lems shoes, but wish the fit was more consistent (I have had to return 2 pairs I ordered in the past - one was huge and the other way too small). Hoping this is a production thing that can get smoothed out over time. That aside, I am a total convert to zero drop shoes. Wearing Lems eliminated foot and hip pain that I had had for a long time so I am very grateful for that.
