Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Comfy right out of the box
I love my new Lems boots!! They are so comfortable and versatile. I wore them for a 3 mile walk the first day I received them, and my feet felt great.

legendary for a reason
Have worn the Primal Ecos for a couple years, and love them; and kept reading about how terrific your Chelsea boots are. I resisted for a long time for a myriad of silly reasons... finally broke down, and yes, the boots really are awesome. They are Chelseas, not lace ups, so there will be motion within the boot -- I wouldn't wear them climbing Mt Washington but they are great for walking all day long on city streets or sightseeing or just going about my day. So glad I got them=> there is room for my toes, good traction (tested this AM in snow and freezing rain) and easy to get on and off with the tabs- enough space for my high instep, and they are actually cute (which I was not expecting). A win. Thanks, Lems! I sized up a half size from my Primal Eco size, to allow for thicker socks (and I think I saw somewhere that it's a good idea). Glad I did. A hair longer in the toe box than my Primals, but I was happy to have that space this AM in the cold snow.

Love them!
Beautiful Chelsea boot. Super comfy, feels sturdy & well made. I can tell these will be my go-to shoes through the winter, as they are a bit warm.
