good but not a lot of give
i love lems and have a number of pairs of their shoes, including the regular chelsea boots. i got the waterproof ones and wanted to wear them a few times before i reviewed them. they are a quality boot but the material does not have a lot of give yet, and they are pretty stiff in the ankles. harder to get on and off than the regular ones. they do the job so far tho, although we haven't had much wetness in Wyoming this winter so far to really put them to the test.

Excellent
These are exactly what I was hoping for. I needed a shoe that was easy on and off, that would last a while. I also needed somthing to keep my feet dry and warm while giving me space I need for my toes! Very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of this product. This made spending the amount I did worth it!
A quality sock would be recommended, I have narrow ankles and I did have some shafing after the first week of use. But changing to a thicker sock I have not had the issue going forward.

Great shoes
I really like these shoes. They have less of a "barefoot shoe look" than quite a few other brands. I opted for the winter style because of the extra traction on the bottom and living in an area that regularly gets several feet of snow throughout the winter months. They are definitely on the warm side where you can't feel the cold air and snow when you are outside and it is 10 Fahrenheit, but going inside for longer periods of time my feet do get warm. I really like them and would highly recommend.
