Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

This full-rubber, rugged outsole is designed with recessed grooves and singular lugs, giving you the traction you need for any sticky situation!

TrailBlazer = Trailheads 2.0
I've worn probably 5-6 pairs of Trailheads of different colors over the last 4 years. But most recent pair (2025) was made different and I wasn't sure if I liked them (seems a bit shorter and stiffer material causing chafing). The new TrailBlazers fixed all my concerns. A bit roomier, soft in the front with great ankle support. They do NOT look wider than Trailheads, but do feel wider. I'd call these Trailheads 2.0, if it was up to me. Great product.

Excellent out of the box
Just purchased my first pair of Lems and I chose the Juniper colored Trail Blazers. Straight out of the box I have never had a more comfortable pair of trail runners. I absolutely love the color as well. I hope this style gets made for years to come!

Pretty good
The Trail Blazers seem like a great addition to the Lems family. I think they will take a minute to get more of a broken in feel compared to shoes like the Primal Zen but I dig the style of them. I do wish they could cut the stack height down on these a little bit. The Primal Zen suedes are still my all time faves, just hoping they drop some new badass colorways for those soon since it’s been a while and the selection is kinda small.
