Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Great product with some caveats
I would have liked a bit more toebox room still, but in comparison to red wings these are incredibly free up front.
Your mileage may vary but I couldn't wear them when doing a half size up, too loose at that size.
This could come down to how you size your shoes and if you like a looser fit or not to begin with.
4/5 Needed more toe space and still could use a bit more snug feel around the heel and ankle.
The tread compound has incredible grip wet or dry though!

Easy slip boots, perfect for dog walks and yard work
I've been eyeing these boots for a while and finally got them. I needed something water proof and wanted something easy to put on for just walking around the yard or taking the dogs out for a rainy walk. And these have been perfect. They also look great and I've been wearing them to work. Like any lems, they are comfortable and the wide toe box makes my feet happy. I normally wear a 9 but with these know from previous purchases that I need to go up a half size so my big toe isn't right up to the end of the boot. The 9.5 fits me perfectly

Great boot!
Really like the winter protection this boot offers that is also comfortable to wear in the office. So glad I got them and know I will enjoy wearing them for many years to come!
