Natural, foot-shaped shoes are tough to come by. Most shoes come to a point at the tip, forcing the toes into a triangular shape that compromises our balance, strength, and overall foot health. Lems are specifically designed with the natural shape of the foot in mind. By mirroring the foot’s natural shape, the entire body benefits in a multitude of ways.
If you’ve been hearing about ‘minimalist’ or ‘zero drop’ shoes and you’re interested in dipping your toes in the barefoot pond but don’t know where to start, you’re in the right place. Transitioning to zero drop is fairly simple, but like anything, it’s important that it’s done correctly. If not done correctly, transitioning to zero drop can cause more harm than good when it comes to the health of your foot. But first, let’s figure out if zero drop is right for you.
One of the most frequent questions our customer service team receives asks about the difference between the Lems Trailhead V2 and the Mesa.
While it might still be better to play it safe by socially distancing, that doesn’t mean you have to spend all of your time indoors. Don’t have a backyard? That’s okay too. No matter where you live, there’s plenty of places to soak up some sun or grab some outdoor adventure while keeping 6 feet apart.

I got these shoes because I liked the look of them and they looked easy to get on and off. I don’t typically like the look or feel of boat shoes, being too boxy and pretentious. These are not. These are subtle and comfortable. For those reasons and the others listed above, I deeply enjoy wearing them. It’s really nice to—when traveling—have a pair of shoes that can suit multiple scenarios—hiking to Sutro Baths in SF or wearing to a film festival, they were great. I really like these as subtle chill footwear I can utilize regardless of circumstance. If you’re looking for an extremely comfortable, versatile barefoot-like shoe, look no further.
