Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Waterproof and roomy enough!
They seem sturdy; it's hard to review a pair of shoes having only just started using them, since how they age is so important. But the leather seems good quality, so it'll be worthwhile to maintain them. I was a little worried at first that they were too narrow, but i took the insole out and they fit great. On into a wet spring!

So comfortable!
These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn before. Great for colder weather and rougher terrain. Been wearing them for a few weeks now and on a hike up/down hill. I can say that my feet have not rubbed or had any problems almost like there’s no shoe there at all. But enough rubber sole that you don’t have to worry about what you’re stepping on, even puddles. These will be my go-tos for the fall-winter months.

Love love love!
I am very happy with my purchase. When my boots arrived, there was a defect in one of the shoes (loose lining around the toe area) which irritated my sensory experience. I reached out to the company and they sent me a replacement pair right away! My feet are so happy in these boots. They're practical, comfortable and stylish. I went up 1/2 a size from my typical size, which ended up being a perfect fit for me. Very happy with the company and the boots and would definitely recommend.
