Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

My absolute all-time favorite shoes
I have always been about comfortable shoes. The doctor was surprised, when I was diagnosed at age 45 with bunions, that I had never had pain before that, but even as a teenager/young woman, I refused to wear high heels or tight-fitting shoes. My favorite has always been to be barefoot. Several years ago, a friend gave me a pair of barefoot shoes, when I had never even heard of the concept, and I loved them...but if I wore them for long walks, the soles of my feet hurt. I'm not here to dis that brand--lots of people love them. But last summer another friend gave me her 13yo daughter's outgrown Lems Primal 2 shoes. The very first day I wore them for a walk, I also felt like jogging, so I did. 2 1/2 hours walking/jogging, and my feet were fine. I got my first new pair, Primal 3, last week, while on vacation in the U.S. The first day I wore them I walked around 25,000 steps. The next day I jogged 5 km with them, plus walking all day, for a total of around 40,000 steps. I've owned them for just over a week and have logged about 50 kilometers with them. My sisters got tired of me saying how much I loved these and said I just need to write a review. I don't tend to go on and on about shoes or clothes, as I generally just don't care, but I don't know how to explain better than I absolutely love these shoes. Most of my jogging was city roads, but some on uneven dirt/gravel roads, too. Walking was virtually all city.
