Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This brand new, sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

THE BEST EVER
I am a farmer/truck driver/ mechanic so I work in these boots. I have tried various brands over the years such as Redwing, Thourogood, Brunt, and a bunch others, they all are uncomfortable and make my legs hurt, especially around the knees. Not these! These Lems Boulder Summit are the best boots I have ever had, so comfortable, I love them so much, I buy a pair every year. The shape of the foot is far superior than anything else, I love the zero-drop and the cushioned feeling sole. I think the fact that the other boot brands aren't zero-drop is a big factor to why they are uncomfortable. Please Lems do not ever stop making this boot!!

Awesome for trades
My husband has been looking for years for a good boot for his job. He stands on concrete all day and has a lot of bending/kneeling so he needed a flexible sole. One week into wearing these and he said he’s never going back to regular boots again.

Truly fantastic
I did exhaustive reading of reviews for all kinds of zero drop boots. Different brands, styles, features, etc. After months of reading, I finally landed on these boots and could not be more impressed. They’re my only Lems, but they definitely won’t be my last. These boots have served me well all throughout a Michigan winter of cold, snow and ice. They’re the right style, fit and performance. Really, I’m completely satisfied, and I don’t know if I’ve ever said that about a pair of boots in the past.
