Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Comfortable boots
I am really enjoying these boots in our cooler weather. They were a little stiff at first but have quickly relaxed into a comfortable boot that I can wear all day. I ordered a half size larger than my Primal Zen suede shoes and that has worked out well for the Chelsea Boot fit.

Easy to slip-on and comfortable
Bought these because I needed slip-on boots for going outdoors to let the dogs out and do work in the yard when there is bad weather. Bought them a half-size larger than I normally wear as suggested and they fit perfect. They are really comfortable and easy to slip on. I've worn them outside in the snow and rain and the waterproofing is great, and they also keep my feet warmer than my other boots as well. I have a pair of Lems hiking shoes, and a pair of casual shoes that I love and now that I have these boots I am 100% sold on Lems, everything they make is comfortable, stylish, and lasts.

Yesterday
On my second pair
I wear these almost daily for work and off work. 1st pair lasted almost two years and are still in pretty good shape except for a small hole along one of the side seams. I swapped the insoles on the 1st pair with the cork ones, they hold up better. 2nd pair came with the cork insoles which I was surprised and happy about. Sometimes I wish they had better traction but finally got some Boulder Summits for snow, ice, and off road hiking.
