Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Boulder Boots
My husband is an AK amputee and this is the first pair of boots that has enabled him to walk properly with his prosthetic foot! They are amazing! He just loves the zero drop, finally after 20 years of looking we have found the right fit, cannot thank you enough! Would highly recommend to any amputee out there!

1 year review: great boots
My original review was pretty harsh, but I have grown to love these boots.
I use them as interior boots.
These are true barefoot zero drop boots. My toes can splay , unlike with A LOT of other brands (like Jim G or X).
These are SUPER comfortable, are easy to put on, they look good and they are warm.
I wear them every day at home, especially during winter. I no longer wear slippers.
The outsole is a major improvement on the regular Boulder outsole.
I would also gladly get a pair of black regular Boulder if they had this outsole, or at least the same outsole as the Chelsea boots. Something to ponder on, while tinkering on the drawing board ;).
Be warned, this is not ideal for winter (the Boulder Summit is). It can be used, but traction isn't perfect.
The outsole will also grab any small pebble, which you will then bring inside.
And that is why I use this as an inside shoe/boot. I wish the model was available in black, and I dislike the lacing hooks (they constantly snag onto my pants when I'm removing my boots).
I wear them all day. I put green laces instead of the brown ones. I highly recommend this boots.
They fit true to size. I normally wear 9 US (male), and these fit perfectly (9 US).
