Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Too short
I wear an 8.5, but always get a 9 in boots to have room for thicker socks for winter. So I ordered a 9 in these boots and my toes were scrunched at the end of the boots. I returned them for a 9.5 and those were also too short. My toes were still hitting the edge. I’m sad they didn’t fit because they’re cute and otherwise really comfy.

Mostly great
I love almost everything about these boots--they are warm, easy to walk in, and look good. My only wish is that they were easier to get on. The tongue is attached to the side with a gusset, which means that I need to loosen the ties quite a bit to get them on. Minor detail in the bigger scheme of things.

I love these boots!
These are my favorite new shoes - so comfortable and really cute despite being wide enough to accommodate my feet comfortably (i.e. they're not clown shoes). I like the Limestone color, but would love these even more in a navy blue suede. I'm tempted to buy another pair and dye them myself (the internet says it isn't too hard to do), but they'll look much better if you just make them for me instead. :-)
As for sizing, I've pretty much been a size 10 my whole life but apparently your feet get bigger when you are in middle age (who knew?), so I went with an 11 and they fit perfectly.
