Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

I bought them again
I've had seven pairs of Primal 2s, going back to when they came in fun colors like turquoise and purple. They are the main shoes I wear. They keep my plantar faciitis and sesamoiditis at bay. I was a bit nervous when I went to order my next pair and found the update. But I actually like the primal 3 better. My toes have more room, and there's better lateral stability. I've just started wearing my second pair. My only complaint is that the colors are a bit stale. I hope there is something new in time for next year's pair.

Quality.
This was the second pair of primal 3 LEMS purchased. I have found them to be of the highest quality, however due to severe neuropathy and balance problems, I find it difficult to tolerate the sponginess. This is not the fault of the shoe but of my need for something firmer. My apologies.

I like these
I like these shoes. I got a size 10 in men's and they fit. They are a little tight in the middle of my foot, but I think they'll stretch with wear. These shoes keep my foot from dragging. I had a stroke in 2017 and haven't been able to wear shoes since. I'm glad my daughter found these shoes.
