Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Great
I like them but the idea that the cork soles help with smell is not true. My new balances never smelled and these started smelling after a couple weeks of wear. Otherwise, great shoe

Another gem
My biggest gripe with my Primal Eco, is that I had to purchase this shoe, only because the Primal 2's and Primal 3's were sold out in the colorway I wanted, and this was the next best match. I'm SOOO sad to see the beautiful brown colorway of the Primal 2 not being carried over to Primal 3. I thought I found "my shoe for life" and it disappeared after I bought it 🤦. This is still an outstanding shoe. Though only 4 stars for me, because of the slight differences in design causing this to be a little tougher to break in compared to Primal 2's. I still ended up buying the black Primal 3 because the other colors I preferred were sold out(grey amd olive). It's obvious Lems makes the best primal toe-box zero-drop minimalist shoes. And they always sell out because of it. This time I'm saving up to be able to purchase as soon as the next production wave drops. 🥳
