Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Comfy and foot-freeing!
I'm only 3 weeks in, but I've really enjoyed these shoes. My feet can be responsive to the ground underneath them and my toes can spread out, but they still have enough cushion and sole support to make me much braver than when I'm barefoot.

Super comfortable!
I've been wearing Xeroshoes for years and they are also a great company. I love the primal zens because they give me that barefoot feel with a little cushion that helps my back pain. I decided I can't go completely flat these days and these shoes are so comfy and perfect for working retail.

Good enough
I've only had the shoes for a few weeks. Very comfortable, good stack height, nice color.
Con: The one thing I've noticed is the bottoms are already showing signs of wear. All my shoes wear out first under the balls of my feet based on my gait and slight twist I do when I push off. After wearing these almost daily for almost a month I'm noticing the outsole is already looking more worn in the normal spot for me than the rest of the shoe. I guess I'll see how long they hold up.
I would probably buy them again depending on how long they last.
