Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

OBSESSED!!
I randomly came across these a few months ago while looking for a vegan black boot with a wide toe box. I've been waiting patiently for them to be restocked in my size. I finally got them yesterday and love them already! I am between 8 and 8.5. The 8.5 fit perfectly! They're so lightweight and comfy. Because of the design I feel like I don't have to tie them. I've worn them all day today with no problems. They fit snug on the top of my foot (but not too tight) so it doesn't feel like they're going to slip off. I have an average sized foot width but only wear barefoot/minimalist shoes. I sprayed them with water repellent spray in hopes that I won't have an issue wearing them in wet weather. I would love to see a black waterproof vegan option for winter weather. I'm hoping you never discontinue these though!

This is my second pair of these boots. They've worn well and are super comfortable despite my bunions. I highly recommend these boots!

Love this boot
Been wearing this boot for years and finally got a few more pairs to wear for my winter walking. Not for rainy days, mind you, but for the chilly ones. Fantastic footbed is just what I need and want for long pavement walking. Can’t recommend highly enough.
