Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Almost perfect
For my work I stand for 8-10 hours a day and this would be the perfect shoe if it had a little more cushion.

Lems does everything right :)
Great shoes. I have had plantar fasciitis for several years and have tried many things. Lems hits a sick spot with what they've created and I am glad I discovered them. The wide toe box is perfect; zero-drop feels great; the minimal padding with the cork insole is exactly what it needs to be.
Customer service is prompt, direct, and helpful. I had shipping changes that needed to be made and I was sorted out in one email.
My only complaint is that the leather creases rather quickly; this is only aesthetic though so I don't really care.
Another thing to note when transitioning to zero-drops- it may be wise to treat it as an all-or-nothing practice. I have had some minor knee and lower back irritations with wearing zero-drops at work and then wearing Chacos the rest of the time.

Men’s Kourt Grip are awesome for my needs.
I wanted a black pair of zero drop, wide toe box shoes for work. I bought these to wear with my field uniform and they are as perfect a uniform shoe I can get for my needs. They are light, simple, comfortable, and durable enough for me to wear on boat patrols and foot patrols on parks and in the woods. If I fell in the water from the boat the Kourt Grips would not weigh me down like a heavy set of uniform boots. I would not have to struggle to get them off to swim . I don’t want to wear any other shoe while in uniform. My feet have never felt better while working.
