Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Good boot
I really like this boot. It looks very stylish (unusual for a wide toe, zero drop shoe) AND it's waterproof. I also like that it comes with two different sizes of sole so you can customize the fit. The boot itself is extremely warm, albeit not very breathable. My feet got a bit sweaty, although wearing toe socks solved this.
I'm not giving five stars for two reasons. First, the "fur" at the cuffs is ridiculous. It looks cheap, sheds everywhere, and isn't going to add any warmth since it's only at the top of the boot. Second, the fit is too sloppy at the heel while being only just wide enough at the widest part of my foot. I tried two sizes and ended up sizing up a half size rather than a whole size from my non-barefoot shoe size (I usually wear US M10.5, EU 44.) I wound up with these in a an EU44.5, USM 11.

Awesome
Never wore Lems before but have been eyeing this brand for awhile as I have wide feet. Bought these during black friday. Wore them for the first time to NYC. Walked 6 miles in these with no complaints from my feet. No blisters or pain. I've found my new brand!

I was super pumped for these shoes to come out but I have two gripes about them after purchasing them. The first is that they are not waterproof and this one was the deal breaker, they are not nearly as wide as the Waterproof Chelsea barefoot boot. I’ll have to send these back for something else.
