Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Laguna Perfection!
Okay, so initially I bought the Suede and the Mist Canvas but I've since added the Seafoam color as well. This is the perfect shoe!!! I have narrow heels and once these shoes are on they are secure without pinching my achilles tendon. I ordered my normal size for a sneaker and I actually have a little room at my toes to either wear socks or for a little thicker insole. I put in the 5.5mm insole and walked 15 miles in them around Boston. I walked a lot of brick, stone, and asphalt streets, hills, steps, grass, and concrete, walking both fast and slow, and I didn't get any blisters!! I was comfortable all day! I highly recommend this shoe. I usually wear it with the cork insole and without socks in the morning to walk the dog. The suede is a great option for a dressier shoe. I already wore them to a party and received a ton of compliments. These are the best shoes...can't wait to see if you all come out with seasonal editions (darker colors for the Winter). I hope this shoe doesn't change. It's perfect!
